Breck Homes has launched a new partnership with LandAid, the property industry charity working to end youth homelessness in the UK.
The commitment will see Breck support LandAid’s work through company fundraising, staff-led initiatives and client events, bringing together the Breck network to raise money and awareness for the charity.
LandAid works with businesses and individuals across the property industry to support frontline charities helping young people who are homeless, have been homeless or are at risk of homelessness.
The LandAid commitment forms part of Breck’s wider commitment to working with charities and not-for-profit organisations to support communities across the North and the Midlands.
The relationship was launched following Breck’s recent Chartered Institute of Housing fringe event in Manchester, where LandAid was named as the company’s event partner. The event brought together more than 400 of Breck’s clients, partners and contacts from across the housing and property sectors and raised funds for LandAid.
As part of the initial fundraising activity, Breck’s land manager James Fairhurst ran LandAid’s 10k race in Manchester on September 10. He will now run five half marathons in five months to raise funds for the charity, with two of those – Fleetwood in August and Malham Cove this month – already completed.

Breck recently became a friend of AFC Fylde Community Foundation, building on its sponsorship of AFC Fylde over the previous two football seasons. The partnership will see Breck provide funding and support specific initiatives delivered by the foundation across the Fylde coast.
The developer also supports hospices and hospitals across the North through donations of seasonal gifts for children at Easter and Christmas.
