Breck Homes has appointed Ian Robinson as contracts manager as the Northern housing developer continues to build its presence across Yorkshire.
Ian has joined Breck from Bellway Yorkshire and brings extensive construction and site management experience to the role, having worked across a range of senior positions within the housebuilding sector.
Based within Breck’s Leeds office, Ian will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of developments from start to finish, managing build programmes and timetables, while maintaining quality, health and safety standards across live sites.
Ian’s previous roles include construction director at Hogg Builders, construction manager at V&A Homes and Yelcon Homes, and senior site manager positions with Barratt and Bellway Homes.
Nigel Robson, Regional Managing Director (Yorkshire) at Breck Homes, said: “Ian’s appointment is another important step in strengthening our Yorkshire team as we continue to grow our delivery capability across the region.
“As we expand in Yorkshire, it is vital we build a team of people who share our values and our commitment to doing things properly. Ian brings a proven track record in construction management, with the technical knowledge and hands-on experience needed to deliver affordable homes at pace, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.”
Ian, who is from Easingwold, near York, added: “Breck is building something exciting across the North and I wanted to be part of that journey. My focus is on helping the business deliver much needed new homes and ensuring our developments are run safely and to the standards our partners expect.
“There is a real opportunity for Breck to be a major force in housebuilding and I am looking forward to playing a role in that.”
