Breck Homes teams up with AFC Fylde Community Foundation to support Fylde residents

July 2026

Northern property developer Breck Homes has announced a partnership with AFC Fylde’s Community Foundation which will see Breck support its initiatives across the Fylde coast.

AFC Fylde Community Foundation is AFC Fylde’s charity partner and supports young people, as well as groups such as veterans, with a range of initiatives including education and employability programmes, regular community engagement events and projects to help people improve fitness and social skills through sport.

Over the last 12 months, it has invested almost £700,000 into the Fylde community, engaged with more than 7,500 people and helped 280 Fylde residents into employment, education, training or apprenticeships.

The partnership builds on Breck’s sponsorship of AFC Fylde over the past two seasons and will see the company become a Friend of the Foundation.

This means Breck will support it with funding to facilitate its work, as well as working more closely with the foundation over the coming months to support specific initiatives across the borough.

Phil Dolan, managing director – North West, Breck Homes said: “In the six years since Breck’s formation, we have seen huge growth across the North by transforming communities through the delivery of high-quality affordable homes in areas that need them. Having our head office in Preston and many current and new developments planned in Lancashire, our roots are firmly here, and we are delighted to play a small part in AFC Fylde Community Foundation.

“We believe good, well-planned development encourages real positive change and creating places where people can thrive. AFC Fylde’s Community Foundation shares this belief with us and is making a huge difference in strengthening communities and improving employability and skills across the Fylde.

“We’re looking forward to building on our partnership with AFC Fylde by investing in the AFC Fylde Community Foundation and contributing to the growth of its work over the coming years.”

Brett Whitehead, chief executive officer, AFC Fylde Community Foundation said: “As a valued club sponsor, it’s fantastic to now have Breck on board as a Friend of the Foundation, supporting the work and helping us continue to make a positive difference across the Fylde community.

“We’re proud to be partnering with a company that shares our values and recognises the importance of giving back. Breck Homes is passionate about making a positive impact in the communities it serves, and we’re excited to work together to create lasting benefits for people across the Fylde.”
