North West property developer Breck has become AFC Fylde’s new back of shirt sponsor for the upcoming 2024-25 and 2025-26 campaigns.
In addition to Breck’s logo appearing on AFC Fylde’s kit for all matches, the sponsorship agreement also see Breck’s branding appear around AFC Fylde’s Mill Farm stadium, as well as across the club’s print and digital channels.
The partnership will begin from AFC Fylde’s first league match at home to Solihull Moors on Saturday, August 10.
Originally known as Kirkham and Wesham, AFC Fylde was formed in 1988. The club is owned by local entrepreneur David Haythornthwaite and has seen a string of promotions over recent years. It currently competes in the Vanarama National League, the fifth tier of English football.
AFC Fylde moved from Kellamergh Park in Warton to its purpose-built Mill Farm Sports Village home in Wesham, Lancashire in 2016. The stadium complex also includes amenities such as community sports pitches and sports science facilities.
Andy Garnett, director, Breck said: “Since its formation, AFC Fylde has had strong links to the Fylde community. As a Lancashire company, we see real alignment in the values of AFC Fylde and our own.
“Breck launched four years ago and we have seen rapid growth in both our investment and affordable homes divisions across the North West.
“Over the next two years, we will continue to support communities across a wider geographical area with quality affordable housing and this sponsorship will go hand in hand with that. It will give the Breck brand national coverage, while aiding us to invest in the Lancashire community and economy where we are based and where many of our staff live.”
Jonathan Eighteen, commercial manager, AFC Fylde, said: “We’re delighted to have agreed a sponsorship deal with Breck. The club has always been forward-thinking, built on a desire to achieve EFL status in the very near future. Our recently announced partnership with the Breck team perfectly demonstrates our ambitions. We look forward to a successful season on and off the pitch and we’re proud to have Breck as one of our key partners.”
Breck also supports a number of local sports teams including Pennington Roses under 9 girls’ team based in Atherton, Greater Manchester and West Kirkby under 8s in Liverpool.
